Dear Charlemagne Families,

The sun is shining, and the energy at school is wonderful! As we head into these final weeks, our students are celebrating a fantastic year with exciting year-end field trips and outdoor activities. While the weather invites us to play, we are also focusing on helping our students stay grounded and finish the school year strong. Thank you for your continued support in helping them round this final corner with confidence and pride. Let’s make these last few weeks unforgettable!

Le soleil brille et l’énergie à l’école est formidable ! Alors que nous entamons ces dernières semaines, nos élèves célèbrent une année fantastique grâce à des sorties scolaires passionnantes et des activités en plein air. Si le beau temps invite aux jeux, nous veillons également à accompagner nos élèves pour qu'ils restent concentrés et terminent l'année en beauté. Merci pour votre soutien continu, qui leur permet d'aborder cette dernière ligne droite avec confiance et fierté. Faisons de ces dernières semaines un moment inoubliable !

Summer camp sign ups are right around the corner: some signups even started last weekend! The PTO has compiled a list of many summer camps, organized by theme, including price and hours.

Field Day will be Wednesday, June 3rd. If you have signed up to volunteer, thank you! A few spots remain to volunteer, visit this website: https://www.signupgenius.com/go/10C0E44ABA62FA2F4C16-64197430-field#/ 

This is a UofO supported event so please only plan on attending if you have officially signed up. For your students, please send them with shoes to run around and play games in, tennis shoes are ideal. If it's sunny and warm please apply sunscreen at home before school and send them to school with a hat. If it rains, the show must go on, please send them with rain coats. There will be a few games that have water, you might let your student know ahead of time they might get wet. Please plan to pick your child up at the regular carpool spot at 1:45PM.

The South Eugene Soccer Club is excited to host the 35th Annual AXE Soccer Camp this summer at South Eugene High School for youth entering grades 1-9 in Fall 2026!

Campers will build soccer skills, play fun games, and meet South Eugene coaches, current players, and alumni while experiencing the Axe soccer tradition.

Monday, June 15 – Thursday, June 18, 2026 | 9:00 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Friday, June 19, 2026 | 9:00 a.m. to noon

Each registration includes an Axe Soccer Camp T-shirt and soccer ball!

AXE Soccer Camp is the premier fundraiser for the South Eugene Soccer Club, helping provide uniforms, equipment, coaching support, and special events for all six South Eugene soccer teams.
