Mardi Gras

Merci Mille Fois!

Thanks to all of you who donated to the annual Tour du Monde. Fourth grade won a bonus recess for the most envelopes returned.

Some of you may not know the scope of what your generous Jog-a-thon and fall supplies donations pay for. This is just a sample:
  • Two palettes of copy paper
  • 295 sets of crayons, watercolors, colored pencils and markers
  • 1500 pencils and erasers
  • 144 pencil pouches
  • 650 glue sticks
  • 360 pocket folders
  • 144 sets of highlighters
  • Boxes of post-it notes
  • Spiral notebooks
  • Composition notebooks
  • 3-ring binders
  • Fifth grade planners
  • Rainbows of construction paper
  • Individual white boards, dry-erase markers and erasers
  • Two new carpets for second grade and kindergarten
  • New PE and recess equipment
  • A new first aid backpack for outdoor events
  • And thousands and thousands of bandaids

In addition, because of you, every student got a yearbook and grades K through 4 got to go to the Science Museum, a UO Dance recital, Nearby Nature at Mt. Pisgah, The Pumpkin Patch, and the UO Museum of Natural History.

From the bottoms of our hearts, merci mille fois!

field day

Field Day is coming!

Field Day is coming on Wednesday, June 3rd. Mme. ErinMarie is looking for parent volunteers to support the UofO students who have designed and will be running the games. Please check out the signup genius and note that there are K-2 games and 3-5 games. Hope to see you there! Questions?

Psquare

ParentSquare vs. ParentVue

As we transition to more and more online transactions, you will receive information from the student information system through an app called ParentVUE. It is unfortunate that the name is so similar to our online communication app, ParentSquare. Perhaps it might help if you consider ParentSquare to be the central location or town square for school info, and ParentVUE to be your view into your student's progress.

Some of you will be receiving in your Friday Folder an invitation to set up a ParentVUE account. If you do not receive an invitation, you have already set up an account.

Thank you for reading, Mme Eliza
survey

2025/26 Parent and Family Engagement & Partnership Survey

From the District offices:

Thank you for taking a few minutes to complete this survey. Your feedback will be used to inform our efforts to continually improve our district, our schools, and our partnership with parents to help students succeed.

If you have more than one student attending school in Eugene School District 4J and have had a different experience for different students, please fill out a separate survey for each student. That provides the schools with information specific to each student’s individual educational experience.

If you have questions or input regarding this survey, please call the Instruction Department at 541-790-7550. Once again, thank you for your time and input.
