Bonjour Charlemagne Families!

As we settle into our routines, it’s been wonderful to see our students growing in confidence and connection each day. We are soaking up these last golden days of summer while also looking forward to the beauty of autumn ahead. With this change of season, we take time to celebrate the richness and diversity of our international community, each family bringing unique traditions, languages, and stories that make Charlemagne such a vibrant place to learn and grow together.

Lost and Found

Lost and Found

We are already starting a collection of clothing, water bottles and lunchboxes.

We recommend labeling everything your student brings or wears to school. There is a much better chance it will work it's way back to you.

Make school travel fun!

As we start the school year, consider options for the school commute. Walking, biking, skating, scooting, busing, or carpooling all support health, learning, safety, and the environment. If driving is the only option, try parking a few minutes away and walking the rest. It avoids parking lot stress and gives you extra time to connect with your child.
  • Do you think your elementary student might walk, bike, or bus at least some days? Sign up at tinyurl.com/eugene4J for free gifts, maps and other support for your active and shared travel!
  • Click here for general tips on safety and route planning for active travel to school.
  • Visit your school office to request a free Lane Transit District annual pass for your student. It's usable year-round and is not just for school travel.
  • All ages, free, learn-to-ride a bike event for not-yet-riders, Tues, Sept 30th, 4:30-6:30pm, 4J Education Center, 200 North Monroe St.
