Week of September 15-19

Mardi Gras

Bonjour Charlemagne Families!

At Charlemagne, we know that life (and school!) doesn’t always go exactly as planned. Just like sailors adjust their sails when the wind shifts, we practice flexibility, finding new ways forward, even when things change. Merci beaucoup to all of you for modeling this superpower with your children and with our school community each day!

Bon Weekend!

Annual Permissions: field trips, movies, and release of information

As most of you are aware, we usually send the Annual Permission forms home with your students.

This year we are trying a new method to gather the information we need: Walking Field Trips; PG movie; and Release of information.

Below is a link to a Google form.

Please fill out the form by September 19.

If you would like to read more information, which contains Required Annual Notices and Parental Rights for certain subjects, please visit here.

Lost and Found

Lost and Found

We are already starting a collection of clothing, water bottles and lunchboxes.

We recommend labeling everything your student brings or wears to school. There is a much better chance it will work it's way back to you.

Volunteer Orientation on Google Meet

We will continue to offer our volunteer orientation meetings on Wednesday, September 17 and 24 at 3:00 p.m.

Even if you attended the training last year, please plan to attend to review the information with us.

Make school travel fun!

As we start the school year, consider options for the school commute. Walking, biking, skating, scooting, busing, or carpooling all support health, learning, safety, and the environment. If driving is the only option, try parking a few minutes away and walking the rest. It avoids parking lot stress and gives you extra time to connect with your child.
