Mardi Gras
quiet time for grade 2

Dear Charlemagne Families

As Spring Break approaches, we wish all our Charlemagne families a time of rest, relaxation, and just the right amount of adventure! Whether you're exploring new places or enjoying a cozy staycation, may this break bring joy, renewal, and wonderful memories. We look forward to seeing everyone refreshed and ready for the final stretch of the school year.

Kleenex

We need Kleenex!

We are low on tissue for our classrooms and the health center. If you are able, please bring in a box or two to replenish our stores. Thank you!
Drive Safely

Please Drive Safely

We have received many phone calls in past weeks regarding speeding and unsafe driving during pick-up.

Please be careful and respectful of our neighbors when driving on both Potter and Kincaid Streets and especially when leaving the parking lots.

Thank you!

Bingo Night in French!

Come join your friends for a fun night of BINGO! from 6-7 p.m. on April 10. We will have popcorn and punch while we play BINGO en français.

killdeer parents
killdeer eggs

Can we raise a family of Killdeer?

You may be aware of the caution tape and signs on the playground? It's because a pair of killdeer has chosen to nest there! We are now up to three eggs.

Killdeer incubate for twenty-eight days and when the chicks hatch, they follow their parents over ground.

Killdeer are protected by the Migratory Bird Treaty Act and having chose our property to nest on, are now our responsibility. Please remind your students to stay a good distance from the nest and not to touch the eggs. In addition, please keep your dogs leashed at all times when on the playground.

Who knows, if we are diligent and fortunate, we might have chicks in less than a month!
