Happy Thanksgiving!
Dear Families,
Thank you to all who attended the recent PTO meeting. Eric’s presentation was really exciting to see. If you missed the meeting, you can review the minutes, including the slides from his presentation, here. No PTO meeting in December, the next meeting is scheduled for Tuesday, January 17.
Please note- there will be NO SCHOOL for students all next week, Nov. 21-25.
If you are cleaning out closets over the long weekend and discover any outgrown items, please hang on to them. Beginning in December, the Esprit de Corps committee will be collecting new and gently used warm clothing for children and adults to donate to First Place Family Center. This will include: coats, sweatshirts, sweats, jackets, gloves, hats and blankets. More details to follow.
Many thanks to Bill and Tim’s BBQ Restaurant and to Cynthia Stenger Riplinger for organizing. We earned $350 for Charlemagne! More restaurant fundraisers are happening soon- keep watching the eNews for upcoming dates.
Everyone have a safe and happy Thanksgiving!

Lend a hand to our French teaching interns and host families
December holidays – Winter break is a terrific time to invite an intern to join your family in a seasonal activity. A couple of the interns will be staying in quiet homes, so invitations will be especially welcome from mid-December through New Year’s.
Hosting supplies needed – Do you have a space heater or a boxspring for a double bed that you could lend to a current host family?
Please contact Cynthia and Alice at charlemagneinternprogram@gmail.com to let us know if you can assist.
