Dear parents,

Parent Meeting: Future of Charlemagne Facility

principals corner 2Tuesday, Dec. 2, at 6:30 p.m. in the Charlemagne gymnasium.

Full-day kindergarten is coming to Eugene 4J schools next year. A few days ago the school board voted to move forward with implementing full-day K.

This is great news, but it presents a challenge for Charlemagne. Our school building does not have enough room to add full-day kindergarten, which requires more classroom space.

The district has scheduled a meeting to talk with parents and gather input and ideas about facility options for the future of our school. The meeting will be next week, on Tuesday, December 2, at 6:30 p.m. in the gymnasium.

All Charlemagne parents and guardians are invited to join this important conversation and share their thoughts. No decisions will be made at the meeting. Parents’ input will be shared with the school board, which will make decisions about our facility in the future.

Childcare will be provided, please RSVP in the main office.
