Dear Charlemagne Parents,

Our Beautiful Garden
Thanks to our master gardeners, Tabatha and Erika, and our dedicated garden volunteers we are now serving food that we grew in the garden in our cafeteria. Today we will pick fresh swiss chard and serve it for lunch tomorrow. The kinders are harvesting radishes and lettuce and the 3rd grade hatched praying mantises in their terrarium a couple weeks ago and let them loose in the garden. The circle of composting, fertilizing, planting, harvesting and eating has been completed! Feel free to visit the garden anytime.

Jog a Thon pledges due this week
Today is the first official day to return Jog a Thon pledges. Parent volunteers will be in the breezeway before school to collect pledges. Students who get their pldeges in will be eligible for daily prize drawings.

Free Concert Friday, 12:45 – 1:20 – Charlemagne Gym
Parents, friends and family members are invited to join us and our Artist in Residence, Eric John Keiser for a 30 minute concert featuring a variety of French songs. Each grade level will perform their own song. It will be a great way to end our week!
