Oregon Children’s Choir (OCC)

The Oregon Children’s Choir has recently brought back our elementary level Junior Choir!Junior Choir is for students in first through fifth grade and is a coed ensemble. We are looking for more students that love to sing and want to improve their vocal technique, music literacy, and performance skills. Rehearsals are Monday afternoons from 4:30 to 5:30 at the First United Methodist Church in downtown Eugene. Masks are required and vaccines are highly encouraged. Our season will conclude with a final concert for all choirs ages 6 through 18 at the end of the school year! Children are invited to come try out a rehearsal for free before registering. Tuition for the remainder of winter term is $125, with needs based scholarships available. To learn more about OCC and Junior Choir, please visit oregonchildrenschoir.org. Academic Achievement Center (AAC):

This unique program picks up children after school and brings them back to our center (until 5:30) for supervised homework time and enrichment activities involving coding, LEGO challenges, art, engineering, math, and science. Beginning Strings Classes with Eugene-Springfield Youth Orchestras (ESYO):

We are looking for families interested in starting their child on violin! Eugene-Springfield Youth Orchestras (ESYO) offers beginning strings classes at Edgewood elementary on Tues-Thurs after school at 3:05-4:00. Charlemagne families are welcome to join us, even if they will be a little late to class.

Coyote Kids:

WheelHaus Arts

WheelHaus Arts is now offering “Summer Art Camps,” an exciting, hands-on studio for creative learning. Designed for youth (ages 6-15 years) to exercise their creativity through a variety of mediums including painting, sculpture, mixed media, textiles/sewing and more. Art Camps are one full week of project-based creative learning and students will have the option of presenting their artworks for a group show at 1st Friday Artwalk. A small mid-afternoon snack and materials/supplies are included.
