Dear Charlemagne families,
Thank you Tabatha Andrews, and her entire planning team, for preparing our fifth grade students to attend Canoe Island. In addition, thank you to the chaperones because without their commitment we would not be able to offer this amazing experience. Thank you to Shannon Tom and Chris Miller for helping with our Curriculum Night. If you have feedback for either Canoe Island or Curriculum Night, please contact me.
I am looking forward to our first PTO meeting of the year tomorrow night (Tuesday, September 27th @ 6:30 pm in Room 1). I will be sharing the most up to date information I have on the water testing for the Parker facility.

First PTO Meeting this Week
It was wonderful to see all the faces both familiar and new at Curriculum Night last week. Thank you for your interest in helping make our school great, and for signing up for specific tasks and roles. If you missed the meeting, but are interested in volunteering with PTO, please contact one of us (firstname.lastname@example.org, email@example.com) or join us at our first PTO meeting tomorrow night at 6:30 p.m.
Charlemagne’s PTO meetings happen monthly and are great way to get detailed information and plan for upcoming events and needs in the school. We hope to see you there! Once again, Ms. V. will be available to provide childcare during the meeting at no cost for all children out of diapers. Thank you Ms. V.!
Finally, if you haven’t yet paid your fees, please call or see Bernadette as soon as possible.
Have a great week!
Shannon Tom and Chris Miller

Le Swag is ready to order!
This year we are ordering your Charlemagne Swag on the early side so you and your kids can show your school pride all year long.
BUT…there is a catch. Instead of an extended ordering period, we will be taking orders for one week only! That’s right…you have until
Monday October 3 to make your selections and turn in your envelopes with order forms and checks (made out to Charlemagne PTO).
DUE DATE OCTOBER 3, 2016. THIS IS A HARD DEADLINE. NO ACCEPTIONS.
Can you still get cool Charlemagne Swag if you miss the deadline? Yes. Don’t panic. We are going to order lots of extras based on past
orders and hopefully there will be the size, color and shape item that you want. However, only those who order in advance will be
guaranteed to get the items they ordered. Ordering in advance means you are sure to get your favorite swag.
Simply print out the order form, make sure to mark your child’s name (AND yours if different on check), classroom and teacher. Feel free to add an extra $12 if you would like to sponsor a Sport Tec Tee. (Given out at Bernadette’s discretion).
