This is a short week and we hope you are looking forward to student lead conferences on Wednesday and Thursday. If you have not signed up for one of the available time slots, please contact your student’s teacher to make arrangements. The conferences will include the students who will show you the progress they have made this year. There will be no school these days and also there is no school on Friday for Professional Development.
Thank you to everyone who participated in Math Madness. With your help, we raised over $9,000.00. A special thanks goes to Jessica Keiper and Marcia Yu for leading this important event.
The Spring Auction is coming on April 15th – save the date in your calendar for this sure to be fun event.
We are looking for a cake platter that was used for Mardi Gras. If you happen to have one that you took home for this event, can you please return back to Bernadette in the office so that she can get it returned to the owner.
Have you thought about becoming more involved in Site Council or PTO? Site Council is looking for a couple parents to join this important Council. If you are interested, please fill out the attached application (link) and return to the office by April 8th. ACE AWARDS – Nominate A Charlemagne Staff Member or Volunteer!
Many thanks for submitting ACE Awards nominations this week. We received several nominations just over the last few days. If you haven’t had time to submit a nomination, I have great news. The deadline has been extended to Thursday, March 17.
Nominating a valued co-worker, leader, or volunteer for an ACE (A Champion in Education) Award is a wonderful way to honor the incredible talent and dedication of the people we work with every day. One 4J nominee in each category will win a $1,000 cash prize toward a project or program in their school — and EVERY employee and volunteer who is the subject of a complete nomination will be recognized as an exceptional educator.
Nominations are welcome in four categories: licensed staff, classified staff, administrators, volunteers. We would love to see more Volunteer, Classified and Administrator nominations
