PTO Spending Proposal Deadline Extended: Feb 3rd

Dear Families,
Don’t forget to join us at Papa’s Pizza (Coburg Road location) on Thursday, January 16! Just think, you can answer the “what’s for dinner” question and raise money for our school at the same time! Charlemagne will receive 50% of the value of food purchased and 25% of the amount of “fundraiser bucks” purchased for future visits. All you have to do is bring in this flyer. Be there or be square!
The Math Madness Kick-Off Assembly will be this Friday. Kids will hear all about the exciting prizes they can earn by collecting pledges for doing math problems! All classes with 100% participation will earn a pizza party, and one lucky child from each class will join Mme. Morley for lunch at Dickie Jo’s (on a school day)! Packets will come home on Friday and will be due no later than Friday, January 28th.  Please help your child participate in this important fundraiser.
The deadline for PTO spending proposals has been extended to Monday, February 3. We encourage community members to take this opportunity to provide input into how our PTO funds are used. Proposals forms are available here.
Activities this week are:
Thursday:
Papa’s Pizza Fundraiser (Coburg location) – 11am-midnight

Introducing a fun creative art class that will teach the fundamentals of both drawing and painting for 1st to 5th graders.
We will experiment and play with different art materials, look at color and techniques from passed masters as well as go into nature and create images from what we see and feel around us.
The classes will start after school on Tuesday Jan 21st, the 3rd week of school.
They will run from 2:45 to 4:30 and cost $160 for 8
