New Principal and New Teacher Selection Process
I wanted to give you a quick update on selecting your new principal and hiring new teachers for the 13 -14 school year. The Eugene School District Human Resources Dept.is waiting to get a more candidates in the Charlemagne princiapal candidate pool before conducting interviews. I hope we can interview principal candidates in the first week of June. We also have 3 new teacher openings at this time. A first grade teacher, a half time 2nd grade teacher and a 4th or 5th grade teacher. At this time we are accepting in district applications only. We will review the in district candidate pool then in all likelihood post all 3 positions for external candidates as well. This process will take at least 2 weeks, so it looks like we will interview for the three new teaching positions after the school year has officially ended. I am hoping that your new principal will be able to help with the new teacher selection process. The goal is to have all positions filled before June 26th.
