Dear Charlemagne Families

I hope you are enjoying your time together as a family and the beautiful spring weather. We hit the ground running with a busy first week back and we look forward to an even busier month of April.

Monday, April 1. The Charlemagne staff will spend Monday, April 1st preparing their lessons and attending a Math workshop on the new common core math standards.

Tuesday, April 2 – Students return!

Thursday, April 4 – Living Voices We welcome “Living Voices” a well respected theater group from Seattle, Washington to Charlemagne. Living Voices uses live theater and film to offer accurate and inspiring glimpses of American history. On Thursday, they will present “Northwest Passage” to 4th and 5th grades and “Island of Hope ” to the entire school. “Northwest Passage” happens at 10:30 – 11:30 and Island of Hope 1:30 – 2:30. Parents and siblings are welcome to attend both presentations. Click on the following link for a brief description of both performances:

Saturday, April 6 – Rummage Sale, All School Play Date and Garden Work Party On Saturday April 6, 9:00 – 3:00 p.m.we will hold our second annual Rummage Sale in the Charlemagne gym. We are also looking for adult and students to help freshen up our beautiful garden and enjoy an all school play date from 10:00 – 12:00 p.m.
