Rummage Sale a Big Success!
Nothing like a rummage sale to bring the community together. A big thanks to Joanna Hoffman and her dedicated volunteers for coordinating this years Rummage Sale. We will let you know how much we made later this week.

The Silent Auction and Mood Area 52 are coming! (Vet’s Club on April 19 6:00 – 10:00 p.m)
The Charlemagne silent auction is coming up. We can’t wait to party at the Vet’s Club on Friday, April 19th. Mood Area 52 is going to play after the auction so get ready to dance. Jen West, Jess Keiper, Lori Stenshoel, Nicole Gillson and Cindy Matherly are still looking for donations. We haven’t had much donated from families at Charlemagne and as much as we can’t wait to hang out with you all the main goal is to make some money for the school. SOOO…please email Jen (jenwestdesign@comcast.net) or Jess (jessicamosley@hotmail) with any donations that you have. Any gift certificates for local businesses, vacation homes, experiences, private parties, merchandise, etc…would be great. We are also looking for lots of wine for the Wall of Wine. Please help us! Also, tickets are ready to be purchased and we need to get in our head count. Tickets are $25/each or reserve a table for 8 for $200. Tickets available from any of the girls above or from Heather in the office. Thank you!
Have You Seen the Garden Lately?
We postponed the All school Play Date and Garden Work Party due to weather. We hope to reschedule another  All School Play Date and Garden Party later this month. If you get a chance I encourage all parents to visit the garden. Classroom beds are sprouting and thanks in large part to Tabatha and Erika the garden has never looked better.

Save the Date! Eugene Marathon French Quarter Cheer Zone – April 28 8:30 – 11:30 a.m.
Families and friends are encourage to break out their Mardi Gras beads and masks and  cheer, wave posters, yell, bang drums and play instruments at Charlemagne’s French Quarter Cheer Zone. The French Quarter Cheer Zone is located at mile 21 on the Owasso foot bridge (Better known to marathon runners as “The Wall” ) It is the most challenging part of the course and we will be there to cheer and inspire runners from throughout the world. The Eugene Marathon is an international event and is the perfect time to showcase the passion and spirit of Charlemagne French Immersion School. Last year we received a $300.00 prize for being voted the best cheer zone. It was a blast and we intend to defend our title as the best cheer zone again this year.
