Dear Charlemagne Families

Empathy and Food for Lane County Feb. 4 – 22
Our annual Food For Lane county food drive is off to a quiet start. Let’s makes some noise this week by bringing canned and dry foods to school. We will have barrels in the breezeway and throughout the school for easy drop off. We are also accepting Cash/check donations to Food For Lane County.an anonymous donor to Food For Lane County will match all cash/check donations.

Math Madness!!!
Thanks to your generosity this years Math Madness Fundraiser set a new record for earnings. We blew past our goal of $10,000.00 and have now collected over $13,000.00. A big thank you to our Math Madness volunteers and of course to everybody who pitched in and made Math Madness such a tremendous success.

Video Production Room
Thanks to a generous donation of computers by Palo Alto software, Robin Chappell is able to begin creating a video production center next to the library. The vision for the video production center is to provide students with the opportunity to create a wide range of French language videos that can be used as French language assessments, tutorials and eventually we hope to replace the current morning announcements with live video broadcasts delivered in French by students.

See the attached La Semaine à Charlemagne Feb. 11 – 15 for more dates, times, activities and the “At a Glance” yearly calendar

Have a great weekend with family and friends
