Thanks to Esprit de Corps volunteers Melissa Sikes, Gina Thompson and Kim Robles for their help in honoring our wonderful classified staff during Classified Staff Appreciation last week. If you didn’t have a chance to read the staff interviews in the breezeway last week, you can still check them out in the office!
Many thanks to Sabrina Parsons and Cindy Matherly for organizing a deliciously successful Sunday date night at Sfizio’s as part of our Restaurant of the Month fundraiser. We heard there were 40 reservations! Thanks to all who participated. With childcare at Bounce Gymnastics, Monsieur Tom was quite the host bouncing back and forth at both events welcoming everyone!
News from District 4J’s Website:
“The district is building its 2012–13 budget to provide an average class size of 27 for elementary schools and 28 for middle and high schools. All elementary school students will receive some physical education and music instruction from specialists. Schools may supplement staffing through fundraising efforts.”
Have you ever wondered what all our fundraising goes towards?
Please plan to attend the Charlemagne PTO Meeting on Tuesday, March 20 at 6:30 p.m. to learn more about staffing plans and parent-generated funds for the next school year.
