We are looking forward to this week. Routines and expectations have been established and the kids and staff have found their rhythm and are on their way to another successful school year.

Speaking of rhythm, mine has been disrupted just a bit . Last Thursday, I was diagnosed with a Pulmonary Embolism (Blood clot in my right lung) I have been responding well to treatments and it looks like I will be just fine. At this time I have been instructed to rest at home until the pain subsides and the initial treatment phase is completed. I am thinking that I will miss the next two days of school and hopefully return to school on Wednesday. I miss the buzz of our wonderful school and will be in touch with Heather and the Charlemagne staff throughout the next couple of days. I am confident that the Charlemagne staff and students will do great work in my absence. Take a moment to appreciate your good health and do every thing you can to stay healthy and balanced in work and life.
